So, um, 7 years later... I honestly have no idea why it's taken me so long to get back.  Well, kind of true I guess; I haven't really been making much in the way of digital art in a while, so no reason to be on here except to look at other people's stuff.  Well, last night I fell down the DAZ rabbit hole again so there'll be more coming from me in the future I guess 

So yeah, sorry for the abrupt absence.  I took on a new job that required me to travel around the country, and though I visited some very lovely places, I had little to no cell phone reception and no wi-fi connection for the laptop.  I'll eventually get around to posting some of the pictures I took of the scenery, so keep an eye out for those if you're into that kind of stuff lol.  Otherwise, I'm obviously severely behind in -everything- I was involved in before I left so now I'm trying to play catch-up and, as if that wasn't enough, my husband and I are also moving this month as well.  Fun times.  Hope everyone has been well and have had some nice holidays.

So after two full weeks of "meh," I have had an absolutely fantabulous day! Most important reason... I HAVE A JOB! I'll be selling jewelry for a company, Blue Steel www.buybluesteel.com/ ,  that works bike shows around the country.  They've got a show in my hometown this weekend so I'll be working Friday through Sunday.  Hopefully everything will go splendidly and I'll stay with the company Which will mean traveling around the country and seeing new places and, most importantly, lots of money to pay those pesky little bills that us adults have to deal with like rent and electricity and internet lol

Secondly, I decided to try my hand at this adoptables fad that's going on here on dA and made up a few over the weekend (you should go look at them in my folder, they're pretty cute), mainly just because it gives me something to do coloring them all, but whatever lol.  But, I sold my first one! I'm very thrilled with myself over it.

And I had a very sweet person, HaiSociety randomly donate points to me, how awesomely cool is that? Lots of and for her for that!

So yeah, awesome day to what will (it will, damnit!) stay a perfectly awesome week!

So yeah, currently out of work with no income and I'm bored off my ass, hence the sudden outpouring of artwork and writing over the past couple weeks.  Job hunting sucks.  Trying to find a job when you know you're going to be moving in a couple months but unsure where to... that sucks even worse.  On the upside, I've been having fun playing around with my new DAZ programs and I've been experimenting on changing the colors of things to varying degrees of success.  I've also been offering up personalized 3D models for a couple of contest prizes- gives me something specific to work on and makes me stretch my creative muscles to see how i can tweak the limited amount of stock pieces I have on hand to fit what's being requested.  I've also been participating in a bunch of different contests, once again to give me something specific to focus on and see how I can work things out.
